PILOT Video integrates with the world's leading dashcam and MDVR manufacturers - so your fleet operators and resellers keep the hardware they trust, and simply add intelligence on top. Don't see your device? Our integration team evaluates new hardware on request.
PILOT Video does not just record - it understands. AI-powered analysis turns every camera feed into real-time safety intelligence, from ADAS collision warnings to distracted driver detection and automatic incident evidence capture.
Every PILOT Video deployment records on two independent layers simultaneously. On-device captures everything. The cloud captures what matters most — and keeps it accessible regardless of what happens to the device.
Storage Server (Cloud)
PILOT server — safety event
The dashcam or DVR records continuously to its internal memory card. All camera channels are captured in real time — accessible for download while the device is online and the recording has not been overwritten.
Device Storage
On-camera SD card
Every DMS and ADAS safety event is automatically uploaded to the PILOT cloud server with a photo or video clip attached. When storage is full, the oldest events are overwritten — so the latest safety data is always available
Multi-Camera Live View
Open a live view of any vehicle and see all connected camera channels at once — road-facing, driver-facing, corridor, and rear. Each feed shows the camera name, timestamp, and a direct link to switch to full live streaming. Operators monitor multiple vehicles in a single session without switching between objects.
Panic Button — Driver-Initiated Incident Alert
When a driver presses the panic button (alert button on supported hardware), the platform immediately creates a video event and uploads a clip automatically. The event is logged in the Safety Event Library with a timestamp and GPS location. Fleet managers receive an instant notification and can open the footage without searching for it manually.
Crash Detection
When a connected device detects a crash signal, the platform creates a crash event, stores it in history, and sends a notification. Each crash event includes an accelerometer graph showing forces on three axes — X (forward/backward), Y (left/right), Z (up/down) — in the milliseconds around the impact. Fleet managers identify the type and severity of the collision without waiting for a report.
Configurable Camera Channels
Each camera installed on a vehicle is configured individually in the platform: name, device type, channel number, and stream quality. Channels can be labeled for the operation — for example: Road, Driver, Front Corridor, Rear Corridor. This naming carries through to the live player, the event archive, and exported footage, so any manager reviewing a clip knows immediately which view they’re watching.
Main Stream / Sub-Stream Quality Toggle
Each camera can transmit in Main Stream (high definition, higher data usage) or Sub-Stream (reduced quality, lower bandwidth). Fleet operators switch between modes per camera based on the situation — full quality for incident review, sub-stream for routine monitoring on mobile connections.
Screenshot Capture from Live or Archive View
Operators capture a still frame from any point in a live stream or archived recording with a single click. Screenshots are timestamped and saved locally. Useful for documentation, incident reporting, and driver coaching sessions.
Configurable Event Notifications — Video + Telematics Triggers
The notification system links video events to any telematics condition: geofence crossing, speeding, ignition events, sensor changes, connection loss, or DMS violations. Each trigger can send an alert by email, SMS, on-screen notification, or Telegram. Notifications include a direct link to the vehicle’s current position and the corresponding video clip.

The 7 Core Benefits of Fleet Video Telematics
Accident prevention
AI alerts and real-time driver feedback stop incidents before they happen. Fleets report up to 40% fewer collisions in the first year of deployment.
Permanent behavior change
Driver coaching powered by real event footage delivers lasting results. Fleets see up to 75% fewer risky incidents within 30 days. Drivers self-correct faster when feedback is specific and visual.
Insurance cost reduction
Video evidence of safer driving earns premium discounts of 5–20%. Insurers including Progressive and HDVI reward fleets that share dashcam data. One prevented accident typically recovers months of platform costs.
Complete operational visibility
Live streaming, historical archive, and event-triggered recording give managers eyes on every vehicle — on any device, at any time.
Driver exoneration
When an incident occurs, GPS-synced footage is uploaded automatically. Managers access timestamped video within minutes — protecting drivers from false claims and companies from fraudulent litigation.
No hardware dependency
Unlike closed platforms, PILOT integrates with any dashcam or MDVR your partners already use. No rip-and-replace. No new hardware purchases required.
Fast ROI
Nearly half of all fleets achieve positive return on investment in under 12 months. Fuel savings, reduced maintenance, and lower accident costs compound quickly.
What is fleet video monitoring software?
Fleet video monitoring software connects dashcams and in-vehicle cameras to a GPS tracking platform, giving fleet managers real-time visibility into driver behavior, road events, and vehicle status — all from one dashboard. PILOT Video integrates live streaming, ADAS/DMS alerts, and incident archives into a single system.
Does PILOT Video integrate with fleet management?
PILOT Video is a native module within the PILOT Fleet Management Platform — not a separate product. GPS tracking, video monitoring, driver management, logistics, and reporting all run in the same account with no additional integrations required.
Can I watch live video from my fleet vehicles right now?
Yes. Any camera-equipped vehicle shows a live camera icon in the object list. Click it to open the live stream with GPS coordinates, speed, and all camera channels visible. Two-way communication with the driver is available directly from the player.
How long is video footage stored?
Footage on the device depends on the camera's memory card capacity and overwrite settings. Safety events (DMS/ADAS violations) are additionally stored on the PILOT server and remain accessible even after on-device recording has been overwritten.
What driver behaviors does PILOT Video detect?
PILOT Video detects: phone use while driving, fatigue/drowsiness, seatbelt violations, smoking, unsafe following distance, lane departure, forward collision risk, and speeding. Each event is automatically labeled, timestamped, and stored with an attached photo or video clip.
Is PILOT Video available as a white-label solution?
Yes. PILOT Video is available as a fully white-label platform for resellers and integrators. Rebrand the platform with your own logo, domain, and colors. API access and multi-tenant admin tools are included.
Does PILOT Video work with any dashcam brand?
Yes. PILOT Video is hardware-agnostic — it supports Howen, CMS, Hikvision, Cipia, Teltonika DualCam, Jimi IoT, and more. Pre-configured global templates enable fast setup for the most common device types. Contact our team to verify compatibility with your hardware.
