Task: To implement monitoring of the load on each axis of each vehicle, trailer and monitoring the weight of the load. Information should be available in real-time.
Solution: To complete this ask, each client’s vehicles are fitted with special axis load sensors manufactured by Pilot Telematics. Each sensor package can be connected to a special display which is installed in the driver’s cab and displays data about the load.
The sensor package connects to the GPS tracker which transfers information about the load on each axis and about the load’s weight to the PILOT transport monitoring platform via a GPRS channel. Using the PILOT IoT Platform’s interface, users receive necessary information both in real-time and in the form of a report for a required period of time.
